Improvement of road infrastructures in Yaounde 5: Mayor Augustin BALA launches the asphalting and lighting works of the Essos Makang M'a Mbock-Mfandena road section behind the stadium. In the afternoon of Friday, May 14, 2021, and under the effective and very noticeable presence of the Sub-Prefect of the Yaounde 5 District, the Honourable Member of the National Assembly, Regional Councillors, Deputy Mayor and the Mayor's Office, Regional Councillors, Deputy Mayors of the Yaounde 5 Borough Council, municipal councillors, Heads of Services of the Yaounde 5 Borough Council, traditional chiefs, officials of the law enforcement agencies, officials of the neighbourhood committees, the dynamic forces of the Essos neighbourhood and numerous populations that the First Municipal Magistrate of the Yaounde 5 Borough Council, Augustin BALA, proceeded to the official launching of the works on the road section: Essos Makang M'a Mbock- Mfandena behind the stadium. The road section to be built in Essos North will link the Essos Makang Ma Mbock neighbourhood to the Mfandena neighbourhood behind the stadium via a large bridge that will be built over the Ebogo River. The company in charge of the execution of the works is the Turkish company MEACAM SARL, the deadline for the execution of the works is 03 (three) months. Also, it is easy to underline that the Essos Makang M'a Mbock-Mfandena road section behind the stadium will not only be asphalted but also lit. The project is the result of funding from Minddevel for a total cost of 95 million CFA francs. In three months time, the hardship endured by the people of Essos Makang M'a Mbock to reach the Mfandena neighbourhood behind the stadium will be a distant memory... #CAY5- clean and green#
