World Environment Day 2021: the Yaounde 5 Borough Council in ecological mode on Saturday 05 June 2021 at Essos-marché (Ewoe River). To celebrate with the international community the 49th edition of the World Environment Day, placed under the theme: "Restoration of ecosystems". The Yaounde 5 District Council, under the supervision of its dynamic Mayor, Augustin Bala, organised a series of activities such as a human investment session on the banks of the Ewoe River at the Essos market and a conference-debate on the theme of the 49th edition of the World Environment Day in the conference room of the Yaounde 5 Women and Family Promotion Centre. The following were mobilized for the occasion The Municipal Executive ; The staff of the Yaoundé 5 City Council; Volunteers from the neighbourhood committees; Volunteers from the enviro-protect association, volunteers from the environnment watch group and students from IRIC grouped in the Environment and Sustainable Development Fortnight (QNEDD). #JME2021# #CAY5-clean and green#
