The first results of Mayor Augustin Bala's stay in the United States are already visible.... Only a few weeks after his return and more precisely since Monday, January 24, 2022, the first services are abandoned: A delegation of two young Cameroonians residing in the United States in the state of Atlanta are in the walls of the Yaounde 5 di rigorous to accompany the latter in the project of digitization of tax payments and communal taxes. They are our compatriots Gabsaga Taji Tata and Babila Galeyin Tata True to his simplicity, his joy of living and his legendary generosity, Mayor Augustin Bala deemed it appropriate to go and watch the Cameroon vs. Comoros round of 16 match at the Olembe stadium with his guests on Monday 24, 2022 and on Tuesday 25, 2022, a special meal was organised in their honour in the presence of the Divisional Officer of the Yaounde 5 district, the Deputy Mayors and Heads of Departments of the Yaounde 5 City Hall. Concretely, our compatriots residing in the United States will remain in Yaounde 5 until Saturday, January 29, 2022 and will work in turn with : The IT unit; The tax base service The Finance Department The Municipal Revenue Office; and and the Translation and Interpretation Unit; With the objective of digitising the payment process of taxes and communal taxes in the Yaoundé 5 district. At the end of the operation, Yaounde 5 taxpayers will be able to start paying their taxes from their respective homes. Long live the Positive-Constructive-Active Diaspora and congratulations to Mayor Augustin Bala who through this project is giving the Cameroonian Diaspora in the United States the opportunity to bring its knowledge to its territorial constituency.
