THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE YAOUNDE V SUBDIVIONNAL COUNCIL
After the last Legislative and Municipal elections of February 2020, here are the members of the municipal council of the Yaounde V City Council
They have been delegated to exercise a specific mission by the deputies or the Mayor. The Municipal Council is the group of people appointed to administer the Commune: Mayor, Deputies and Municipal Councillors. They regulate the affairs of the Commune through deliberations: voting on the budget, management of the municipal domain, etc. The number of Councillors is determined by the number of inhabitants and the meetings are public. The council is presided over by the Mayor and deliberates on matters concerning the life of the Commune. Deliberations are taken by an absolute majority of votes cast. Placed under the supervision of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation, the Yaounde 5 subdivisionnal Council is under the authority of the Mayor assisted by his deputies.
