Free health care campaign in Yaoundé 5: fruitful collaboration between BEN'SS Cameroon and the Yaoundé 5 District Council. In partnership with the association of Volunteers in the Service of Health, abbreviated BEN'SS Cameroon, the Yaounde 5 District Municipality organised an important free health care campaign for the benefit of its populations on 19 and 20 August 2022 in the presence of the personal representative of the High Commissioner of Canada in Cameroon, the Sub-Prefect of the Yaounde 5 District, municipal councillors, traditional chiefs and numerous populations. It should be noted that the campaign took place over two days (19 and 20 August 2022) and the sites selected by the technical organizing committee to host the first edition were: the bilingual school group of Mewoulou in Mvog-Ebanda and the Mongo Beti College in Essos. According to the consolidated statistics of the two days of the campaign, more than 500 people benefited from general consultations ; visits to an ophthalmologist visits to a cardiologist visits to a physiotherapist and visits to a dentist for dental care. In addition to the medical visits and the care provided, the founder and general manager of BEN'SS Cameroon, Mr. Franklin NJOH EPAPE made available to the Yaounde 5 District Municipality some donations of medical equipment such as crutches, wheelchairs and walkers. In his speech during the official launching ceremony of the said free health care campaign, on Friday 19 August 2022 at the Mewoulou bilingual school group in Mvog-Ebanda, Mayor Augustin BALA did not fail to express his deep gratitude to the representatives of the High Commission of Canada in Cameroon for their significant presence on the one hand and to the dynamic team of the BEN'SS-CAMEROUN association for their support and technical assistance on the other hand
